At Petra Samlow Wellness, therapy is guided by psychological science and shaped around the unique needs of each individual. Petra integrates evidence-based approaches from cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic, and humanistic traditions with RTT hypnotherapy to access deeper subconscious patterns. Every session is designed to help clients gain clarity, process underlying emotions, and develop the skills to create sustainable change.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, Petra works to understand the person behind them — the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that influence behaviour and wellbeing. This process invites reflection, insight, and renewed self-connection, supporting growth that lasts beyond the therapy room.

Therapy combines the art of understanding human experience with the rigour of psychological research. Sessions may draw on principles from self-determination theory, attachment science, mindfulness-based interventions, and neuroscience of change. How Sessions Work
Psychotherapy sessions run for 60 or 90 minutes, while Hypnotherapy (RTT) sessions typically take around 120 minutes.

Sessions can be held in-person in Caringbah, Sydney, or online via Zoom for clients across Australia and internationally. Together, we set clear goals, explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, and practise evidence-based strategies to build confidence, resilience, and lasting emotional wellbeing.
